Yuvraj Singh pokes fun at Jasprit Bumrah after the latter’s marriage reports
Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian fast bowler, is set to get married after he decided to take a break from the fourth and final Test against England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Bumrah has also been rested from the T20I series and if reports are to be believed, the speedster is most likely to miss the three-match ODI series as well.
In the meantime, Yuvraj Singh, the former Indian cricketer, poked fun at Bumrah. On March 2, Jasprit uploaded a picture where he was seen striking a pose. Thereafter, Yuvraj, who retired back in 2019, trolled the 27-year-old from Ahmedabad.

Jasprit Bumrah informed the BCCI about his marriage
Earlier, an official in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) stated that Bumrah had asked for the leave and informed about his marriage. The official also confirmed that there’s very little to worry about regarding Bumrah’s fitness.
“There is no concern about him with regard to fitness. He just wanted to take time off and give himself some rest at his home and importantly tend to a very personal matter,” the BCCI official was quoted as saying.
“He informed the BCCI that he is getting married and has taken the leave to help in preparation for the big day,” the source added.
Bumrah played in the opening Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai after which he missed the second Test at the same venue. He found his way back into the eleven in the third Test in Ahmedabad but didn’t have much to do as the spinners were at the forefront.
“Bumrah said I’m getting workload management while playing the game and Ishi said I’m playing my 100th game and not getting to bowl,” Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper, had joked after the third Test where India won by 10 wickets.
In the two Tests, Bumrah managed only four wickets with his best figures of three for 84 coming in the first innings of the opening Test. The fourth match of the series is scheduled to start on Thursday, March 4 with India leading by 2-1.
