The preparations for the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League are in full swing. Teams have begun unveiling their jerseys for the premier women’s T20 competition. After Mumbai Indians revealed their kit on February 25, the Gujarat Giants launched their outfit on February 26.

The Giants took to their Twitter and shared a video which shows their jersey design. “Presenting to you, our jersey for the inaugural @wplt20 season. The glorious jersey depicts the passion & enthusiasm of our lionesses who are set to give it their all in the first-ever season!” the tweet read.

The Giants have imprinted a lioness on the right side of an orange-colored jersey, depicting passion and enthusiasm. Additionally, the back side of the jersey features the name of Australian all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner, which could suggest that Gardner will lead the team in the inaugural season.

The Giants started with their preparations for the inaugural WPL season on February 25 as the squad assembled for their first-ever training session.
