- Mithali Raj
Mithali Raj made her ODI debut way back in the year 1999 and is the leading run-scorer in the format with 7623 runs in 225 matches with a solid average of 51.85 and the highest score of 125*. She has struck seven tons and a staggering 62 fifties in her career. With 1139 runs in 31 matches and an average of 54.23, she is the fifth-highest run-scorer in World Cups. She also scored the most runs (235) for India in the just-concluded five-match ODI series against New Zealand in New Zealand. Mithali also notched up the second-most runs (409) in the last WC held in England in 2017.
2. Harmanpreet Kaur
All-rounder Harmanpreet Kaur is the third-highest run-getter for India in the 50-overs format. The right-handed batter has amassed 2644 runs in 93 ODI innings with an average of 34.15 and the highest score of 171*. She made her debut in the year 2009 and since then she has struck three centuries and 13 half-centuries in the ODI format. Notably, her best score of unbeaten 171 off just 115 balls came in the last World Cup in 2017, when she tore apart the Australian bowling with 20 fours and seven maximums. She struck 359 runs in eight innings in that edition.
3. Deepti Sharma
All-rounder Deepti Sharma was the joint-third highest wicket-taker in the 2017 WC with 12 wickets. India’s leading wicket-taker in the last WC, she has 79 ODI wickets to her name in 69 matches with an average of 30.01 and the best bowling figures of 6/20. Sharma has scored 1720 runs with an average of 36.59 with one century and 11 fifties. The right-arm off-break bowler also finished the recent New Zealand series with the most wickets (10) in five ODIs.
