Chasing a paltry 69 for victory in the summit clash in Potchefstroom, team India trounced England to clinch the first-ever ICC women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup title. Notably, this is the first instance of India’s women’s team winning a major ICC event. Shafali Verma and Co. now have etched their name in the history. 3. Hannah Baker and Anosha Nasir | ENG-W, PAK-W | 10 Wickets
Hannah Baker of England and Anosha Nasir of Pakistan became the joint third-highest wicket-takers in the marquee event. The two scalped 10 wickets each and gave away 73 and 111 runs in total during their time in the event.
2. Parshavi Chopra | IND-W | 11 Wickets
Parshavi Chopra returned magnificent performances as she proved to be a vital asset in the bowling unit. Aggressive with the ball, she got 11 wickets to her name for India, just one behind Australia’s Maggie Clark. Apart from scalping wickets, Parshavi also restricted the rival side from targeting her and concluded the tournament with an average of 7.00.

Australia’s Maggie Clark was instrumental for her team and had tremendous bowling figures throughout the event. She averaged 6.25and gave only 75 runs in the tournament. She ended up as the leading wicket-taker, running away with a thin margin to top the chart.
