The third T20I of the ongoing series between the West Indies and India saw the visitors make a comeback into the series. Led by Hardik Pandya, team India lost their first two games of the series. The visitors were desperate for a win and they showcased just that.

The Windies came in to bat first after winning the toss, and the side got off to a prolific start. Openers Brandon King and Kyle Mayers scored 42 and 25 runs, respectively. Furthermore, with Rovman Powell scored 40* runs off just 19 and Nicholas Pooran’s 20 runs took the hosts to 159.

Kuldeep Yadav was the highest wicket-taker for India in the first innings, taking three wickets and conceding 28 runs in the four overs that he bowled. The 28-year-old continued his red-hot form and has been a vital cog for team India recently.

Looking to be heading towards yet another loss, it was the brilliance of Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma that helped India win the game. Suryakumar scored a brilliant 83 runs in 44 deliveries. Tilak Varma scored a crucial 49* as India won the game by seven wickets in 17.5 overs.

Kuldeep Yadav: Yadav was the best bowler in the match as his spell in the first innings was crucial for India in limiting the hosts to a reasonable total. Kuldeep took three wickets and conceded just 28 runs in the four overs he bowled.
