Wedding bells buzz again as India all-rounder Axar Patel marries Meha Patel

After the marriage of India’s stylish batter KL Rahul and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty the wedding bells have started buzzing again as India’s star all-rounder Axar Patel has tied the knot with Meha Patel on Thursday, January 26 in Gujarat.

In a video that is going viral on social media, Axar can be seen dressed like a bridegroom in a sherwani and enjoying all the wedding festivities. He is not a part of the India squad that has been announced to take on New Zealand in a three-match T20I series starting Friday, January 27.

Who is Meha Patel?

Axar Patel’s wife Meha is a nutritionist and a dietician too. She has also founded and handles her own venture named dt.meha_patel and gives online counselling too. She is fond of travelling and exploring new places and it is rumoured that she also has a tattoo of Axar Patel’s name on one of her arms.

Since, India is currently taking on the Kiwis in a bilateral series at home, very few of Axar’s India temamates are expected to show up for his wedding ceremony. As per reports, Axar’s teammates from Gujarat are supposed to attend the ceremony.

Meanwhile, on the professional front Axar has been eyeing to cement his spot in India’s ODI playing XI among the other two formats. He has displayed glimpses of becoming an excellent all-rounder and with India looking to repeat their heroics of 2011, Axar being a spin bowling all-rounder can certainly add a lot of value to the team.

He is one of the all-rounders that are in the scheme of things leading into the World Cup in October and November and would certainly want to nail his place for the marquee event by virtue of his scintillating displays in the games to come.
