We want to create new memories for our fans: Virat Kohli

Star India batter Virat Kohli reckoned that the team wanted to create new memories for fans in the forthcoming ICC Cricket World Cup which begins on October 5. The Men in Blue will take on Australia in their opening match in the tournament on October 8, at the MA Chidambaram stadium, in Chennai.

With the whole nation anticipating to witness the global event, the 34-year-old recalled the memories of the 2011 World Cup, when India won their second title in the marquee event. The former India captain also opened up about his excitement to participate in the tournament and confident that the team can make the fans’ dream come true.

“The passion and unwavering support of our fans is what fuels our determination to win the World Cup. The memories of past World Cup victories, especially the iconic 2011 win, are etched in our hearts, and we want to create new memories for our fans. Ravindra Jadeja the star India all-rounder, spoke about the love the team has been getting from the fans. The 34-year-old went on to say that the team is confined to making the fans proud with their performances throughout the competition.
