WATCH: Shubman Gill imitates Sunil Narine’s bowling action in the nets
The new entrants Gujarat Titans (GT) are on a roll, in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season. The Titans have won five out of six matches they have played so far and are in first place at the points table. They have presented themselves as one of the strongest teams for the title in this edition.
Opener Shubman Gill who has also played his part scoring 200 runs in six innings, will want to do well against his former franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) during their next group stage match. To note, Gill was part of the two-time champions squad for the past four years and was released by the franchise ahead of IPL 2022 mega auction. As a result, he was signed up by the Gujarat Titans for INR eight crore before the auction.
The 22-year-old who used to open alongside Sunil Narine during the early days of his career was seen trying to imitate the West Indies veteran’s bowling action in the nets. He managed to do it perfectly having watched his action in the nets over the years. Gujarat Titans’ official handle posted the video on Instagram ahead of their game against KKR that is set to be played on Saturday (April 23).
