WATCH: Joe Root reverse scoops Neil Wagner for jaw-dropping six
Former England skipper and veteran batter Joe Root has been in excellent touch since he stepped down from the captaincy post. The right-handed batter has been amongst the runs in the ongoing Test series against New Zealand and is oozing with confidence. Meanwhile, the talented batter stunned everyone with an extraordinary reverse sweep on the bowling of the pacer Neil Wagner during the fourth day of the third Test match.
After staying patient for a while, Root decided to take things into his hands as he crouched low and lapped Wagner over the third man boundary rope. The ball easily went on to cross the boundary runs as the former England skipper collected six runs for his team and himself.
