WATCH: Jasprit Bumrah spotted cheering for MI from stands in Ahmedabad

Mumbai Indians pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah was in attendance for the high-voltage clash against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Notably, Hardik Pandya’s Titans brushed aside the five-time winners by 55 runs on Tuesday, April 25.

However, in the midst of the contest, Jasprit Bumrah made an appearance to cheer for his side. Mumbai Indians took to their official social media handle to post Bumrah’s picture, who was present in the stands.

For those unaware, a recurring back injury has kept Bumrah out of action since September 2022. In March 2023, the express pacer successfully underwent back surgery in New Zealand and joined NCA for rehabilitation.

Jasprit Bumrah is ruled out for the entirety of the IPL. There is an outside chance that the pacer could make it to the ODI World Cup, which will be played in October in India. Meanwhile, the five-time IPL winners announced Sandeep Warrier as a replacement for Bumrah.
