Watch: Ashes AI bot’s responds to bowlers query on ‘how to get Steve Smith out’
The Ashes 2023 is round the corner as Australia and England will be locking horns from June 16 at Edgbaston. Ahead of the much-awaited series, plans and strategies are being formed in both the camps to counter the best players from the opposition.
Taking their Ashes preparations to another level, star England bowlers James Anderson and Stuart Broad were seen asking an AI bot about how to dismiss star Australian batter Steve Smith. The AI began by stating “getting Steve Smith out can be challenging.” The bot further advised to attack Smith with bouncers and set attacking fields.
In a video shared by Sky Sports Twitter handle, the AI bot concluded by saying, “It’s worth noting that Steve Smith is an exceptional batter, so even with these strategies, there’s no guarantee of getting him out”, which made Broad chuckle.
