Virat Kohli reveals his favourite Anushka Sharma movie
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are one of the biggest celebrity couples in India today. While Kohli is the skipper of the Indian cricket team, Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actress. Recently, Kohli opened up on his favorite Anushka Sharma movie.
The batting colossus stated that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is his favorite movie that his wife has acted in. Kohli even went on to add that he praises Anushka Sharma regarding the character even today.
Kohli further added that he opens YouTube and watches the scene where Anushka has cancer and Ranbir Kapoor returns back to see her. He concluded by stating that the scene will always be etched in his heart.
“Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, hands down. That character for me is my most favorite ever. I mean I still tell her often even now. Sometimes I sit down and open YouTube and watch that sequence of when she has cancer and the whole thing where Ranbir (Kapoor) comes back…. that song is etched in my heart. It is never gonna be going anywhere,” said Kohli as quoted by The Indian Express.
Virat Kohli’s India to embark on a tour to England
On the cricketing side of things, Virat Kohli and the Indian side will travel to England where they will take on New Zealand in the hugely awaited summit clash of the World Test Championship (WTC). The WTC final is slated to be played from 18th June to 22nd June 2021, at Southampton.
After the Test match against New Zealand, the Indian Test squad will remain in England where they will take on England in a grueling five-match Test series. The first Test between India and England will commence on 4th August 2021 and will be played at Nottingham.
Kohli was last seen in action in the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side. The 14th edition of the IPL had to be suspended midway after a number of players tested positive for Covid-19. The Bangalore outfit won 5 out of the 7 matches that they had played in the IPL and was occupying 3rd place in the points table when the IPL was suspended.
