Top performers of ENG vs IND T20I series

Team India went on to win the T20I series by a margin of 2-1 against the home team England. The Three Lions also played some good cricket in the series but their batting let them down in the first two matches. However, England played some excellent cricket during the third T20I as they crossed the 200-run mark and eventually win the match by seven wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar

The Player of the series Bhuvneshwar Kumar was excellent during the T20I series. The veteran pacer gave a perfect start to the team after scalping some big wickets in the series. The right-arm pacer scalped the wickets of both English openers during the second T20I and also cleaned up English skipper Jos Buttler during the first T20I. He ended up bagging four wickets to win the Player of the Series award.

Suryakumar Yadav

Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav stroked an excellent century during the third T20I match but could not win the match for his team. The right-handed batter was simply exceptional with the bat as he was the highest run-getter in the series after averaging more than 50 runs, with his 117-run knock taking India close in the final game. Suryakumar is also selected is also named for the Indian squad in the upcoming ODI series and he will like to make the most of that opportunity.

Chris Jordan

England senior pacer Chris Jordan was the highest wicket-taker in the series after grabbing a total of eight wickets in three matches. The right-arm pacer bowled with a lot of discipline as he gave away only 87 runs in 12 overs. He bowled in the series at an average of 10.88. Jordan was the silent performer for his team in the series as the bowler delivered perfect spells for the English team.
