Half of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 edition has been concluded and the fans have seen some of the most exciting contests between bat and ball. However, there have been few stand-out performers in IPL 2022 so far. On that note, let us look at the top three batters from the first half of IPL 2022.

3. Hardik Pandya (GT)

Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper has been in excellent touch with the bat. Coming to bat at Number three or four, the right-handed batter has amassed 295 runs in just six innings at an average of 73.75. He recently played an excellent knock of 67 runs against the two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), which led to his side posting a competitive total of 156 runs and eventually winning the match by a margin of eight runs.

2. KL Rahul (LSG)

Another new team skipper on the list, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain KL Rahul has been prolific for the new entrants. Rahul has already smashed 368 runs in eight matches and is playing at an average of 61.33. The right-handed batter has already stroked two centuries against the five-time champions Mumbai Indians in IPL 2022. LSG is currently placed fourth on the points table and will want to qualify for the playoffs under the leadership of Rahul.

RR batter Jos Buttler has been batting on some different level. At present, he has a more than 100 runs lead against the second batter on the list. The hard-hitting England batter has stroked 499 runs in just eight matches and has already struck three hundreds and two of them came back to back against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI).
