The franchise competition in England i.e. The Hundred will kick off this month on 22nd July. There has been a lot of excitement regarding the completely new format of the game. It will be interesting to see if the tournament can meet the expectations of the viewers. In this article, we will be listing out five players to watch for in The Hundred.
Alex Hales
Alex Hales has been performing well in T20 leagues around the world in the past two years. He has been eagerly waiting to make a comeback in the England national team but has been constantly ignored by the selectors. Hales will be representing the Trent Rockets team in the inaugural season of the tournament. He will be hoping to give explosive starts to his side in the first season.
Rashid Khan
Rashid Khan has been playing in almost all the leagues around the world in the last 3 to 4 years. He has been an impactful cricketer for his sides till now and would be keen to continue that form. Andre Russell
Andre Russell is currently among the most destructive batsmen in the shortest format of the game. He will now be playing in a shorter version with 20 balls fewer than T20 cricket which is the hundred. Russell will represent the Southern Brave team in the first season of The Hundred tournament.
