Team India’s complete cricket schedule after IPL 2023

After an action-packed two months of IPL, the fans will once again get to see their favourite Indian cricketers don the blue jersey. India has a packed schedule of international cricket ahead of them. Right after the IPL, team India is currently in England to participate in the World Test Championship final against Australia from June 7 at the Oval in London.

After the WTC, the Rohit Sharma-led side will be playing back-to-back ODI series till the start of the ODI World Cup 2023 to prepare for the marquee event. To keep players fresh for the packed calendar, the BCCI will reportedly give a month’s break from June to mid-July.

According to a report in Cricbuzz, India’s three-match ODI home series against Afghanistan, which was scheduled to be played between June 20 to 30, is now set to be cancelled as BCCI is looking to manage the player’s workload.

India tour of West Indies in July-August

Following one month’s break, India will tour West Indies next month from July 12 onwards. India will also play two Tests, three ODIs and 5 T20Is.

Asia Cup 2023 in September

The schedule for the Asia Cup 2023 is not out yet. Both India and Pakistan are at loggerheads in deciding the venue of the continental cup. A total of 12 ODIs are set to be played in the upcoming Asia Cup 2023. Interestingly, India and Pakistan will lock horns thrice in the tournament if they reach the final.

ICC Men’s 2023 ODI World Cup in October-November

India will host the ODI World Cup 2023, which is scheduled to begin from October 5. The tournament will feature a total of 48 games, with each team playing nine games during the league stage.

India tour of South Africa 2023-24

To end the year, India will tour South Africa to play 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is extending to January 2024.
