T20 World Cup 2022, SF 2: IND vs ENG Preview
India and England will lock horns at the second semi-final fixture of the T20 World Cup 2022 with an aim to make their place in the summit clash. While India topped their group in the Super 12 stage with eight points, England ended second in their group with seven points to their name. Both the teams are in winning form and thus the contest will be intriguing.
India and England last faced each other when the Men in Blue toured the UK for a multi-format series in July 2022 where India won the T20I series by 2-1. India’s permutations and combinations were a little different back then, as Virat Kohli had not been in the best of form, and KL Rahul had also missed out due to his injury.
The two are in great touch currently, and Suryakumar Yadav’s form is the cherry on top of the cake. England has showcased some competitive performances in the tournament so far, and they can not be underestimated. The winning side will move into the final which is set to happen on November 13 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
