The clash between India and Pakistan is a hugely awaited one
The titanic clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan on 24th October 2021 is a hugely anticipated one. It is to be noted here that Pakistan has never managed to beat the Indian side even once in the T20 World Cup.
India and Pakistan have met each other five times in the biggest stage in the T20I format of the game, and on every occasion, it is the ‘Men in Blue’ who have emerged on top.
On the other hand, Shoaib Malik is a veteran of Pakistan cricket. The 39-year-old cricket legend has played 116 T20I matches in his career. While he has scored 2335 runs with the willow in T20Is at an average of 31.13, Malik has also picked up 28 wickets with the ball as well.
In fact, Malik is the most capped T20I player in the world and is only one of the two cricketers (the other being Mohammad Hafeez) to represent Pakistan in more than 100 T20I matches.
Shoaib Malik’s international career has spanned more than two decades. The right-handed batsman first made his debut for the Pakistan side in the year 1999, against the West Indies at Sharjah. Malik has also represented Pakistan in 35 Tests and 287 ODI matches as well.
