T20 WC2021: Virat Kohli indicates he is not nervous ahead of IND vs PAK clash
24th October 2021 is a date that all cricket fans will be waiting for with a sense of fervour and anticipation. For, arch-rivals India and Pakistan will clash with each other on this date, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The India versus Pakistan clash is seen as a ‘must win’ game, and it is also to be noted that India has never lost to the Pakistan side in the T20 World Cup in 5 previous faceoffs between the two sides.
And, ahead of this blockbuster clash, Indian skipper Virat Kohli has stated that he is not nervous. Kohli took to Twitter to post a tweet, where he can be seen pointing to the ‘Wrogn’ symbol on his shirt as an answer to whether he is nervous ahead of the India versus Pakistan match.

India emerges victorious in both warm-up matches ahead of the 2021 T20 World Cup
The Indian cricket team emerged victorious in both warm-up matches heading into their opening clash against Pakistan. In their first warm-up match on 18th October 2021, Virat Kohli and his men beat the England side with 7 wickets to spare.
Then, in their second warm-up encounter, India beat Australia by 9 wickets and will enter the 2021 T20 World Cup on a confident note.
Virat Kohli also clearly stated that he will approach the match against Pakistan as he has approached any other game of cricket. “I have always approached this game as just another game of cricket,” Kohli said.
The last time India and Pakistan met in T20I cricket was more than 5 years ago, on 19th March 2016 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. India restricted the Pakistan side to a total of 118/5 and chased down the target with 6 wickets to spare.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli was the star performer with the willow for the Indian side in that encounter. The 32-year-old scored a 37-ball 55* and helped India coast past the finish line. Kohli also won the Player of the Match award in that encounter.
