After thriving in the preliminary round of the T20 World Cup 2021, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh advanced to the Super 12 stage and now, they have the onus to do well against the big boys. Meanwhile, these two sides will lock horns in their respective first assignments in the Super 12 stage. The encounter takes place at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on October 24 (Sunday).
The Lankan Lions didn’t put a foot wrong in the preliminary stage as they comprehensively won all their three games. While some loopholes were spotted in their batting line-up, the bowlers made up for them with their stellar spells. On the other hand, Bangladesh suffered a humiliating defeat against Scotland in their opening game. However, they bounced back and won their other two games.

4– Shakib Al Hasan needs four wickets to become the fourth bowler to take 400 wickets in T20 cricket.
