T20 WC 2021: AUS vs WI Preview – Caribbean legends hope to sign off with a win
Australia and West Indies will be facing each other as they play their last Super 12 game. Australia are standing on the verge of qualification. If they are able to beat the West Indies then they will make their case much better. They have won three out of their four games, however, they will need to wait until the result of the England-South Africa game is out.
On the other hand, the Caribbean team will be bidding adieu to the tournament, having lost three of their four matches so far. In many ways, this is the end of an era, with DJ Bravo already announcing his retirement while Chris Gayle could also follow him. There are a few more players who might not return again, hence, a win would mean as much as a good farewell party.

Head to head:
In the T20 World Cups, the two teams have played five matches so far. With Australia winning two of them while West Indies have won three, which includes their last World Cup contest in the 2014 edition in Dhaka.
Team News:
Australia: After dropping Mitchell Marsh in the crucial game against England, Australia brought him back into the XI for the last game against Bangladesh. Ashton Agar was back on the benches, but the Aussies could consider bringing him in again. If that happens, one between Marcus Stoinis, Steven Smith or Marsh might have to take a day off. However, they might end up sticking to the same combination, keeping the semi-final in their minds.
West Indies: The defending champions did have a balanced team for their last game. They won’t make too many changes to this side. Oshane Thomas could get an opportunity given his pace and the future proposition which he brings to the table. The rest of the team should be unchanged. There aren’t any major injury issues as well which is a good sign for them.
