Suryakumar Yadav buys luxurious Mercedes-Benz SUV worth INR 2.15 crore
The star Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav has gifted himself another treat ahead of the upcoming 2022 Asia Cup. He has bought home a brand new Mercedez-Benz SUV GLS AMG 63 worth INR 2.15 crores. The in-form batter is passionate about premium cars and has a classic collection. Earlier this month, he bought a Porsche Turbo 911 convertible car, which is worth INR 3.64 crores. In May 2022, the player revealed his off-field partnership with The Detailing Studio, which provided car customization services.
Interestingly, GLS AMG 63 is not available for sale in India and it will be a great addition to the player’s automobile collection. The car dealership, Auto Hangar, posted an Instagram post wishing Suryakumar on his new car. They decorated their showroom with a cricket theme by adding player posters and placing a pitch for the player and his wife Devisha Shetty.
“In addition to shining in Indian colors, you have again shone in life by choosing Auto Hangar as your preferred luxury car brand. We wish to extend our warmest wishes to Suryakumar Yadav on their new Mercedes Benz GLS. We hope your new star will add more thrilling experiences to your life. We wish you luck in your future endeavors & welcome you to the Auto Hangar family!” Auto Hangar wrote in their Instagram post.
Indian T20 team needs to revolve around Suryakumar Yadav: Rohan Gavaskar
The 31-year-batter was excellent for team India in the recently won T20I series against West Indies, where he smashed 135 runs in four matches. He also reached the career-best second position in ICC T20I rankings. He is the only Indian batter in the top-ten list. Suryakumar is part of India’s upcoming 2022 Asia Cup squad and the former Indian cricketer Rohan Gavaskar believes that the current team needs to revolve around the in-form player.
“You said you can slot Surya at No. 4. I disagree there, Surya doesn’t need to be slotted anywhere. I think this T20 team needs to revolve around Surya. You have got to figure out where is the best you can get out of him, is it at the top of the order, or No. 3 or No. 4, you put him there then,” said Rohan Gavaskar on Sports18.
