Sourav Ganguly suffers a heart attack, to undergo treatment by evening: Reports
Former India captain and current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has suffered a heart attack. He will need to undergo angioplasty by today evening and has been rushed to a hospital in Kolkata. According to PTI sources, he is currently stable and should be able to make a swift recovery.

He felt dizzy when he was in the gym and he went to Woodlands to get the Tests done. That’s when it came to light that there was a cardiac issue and the hospital has now created a 3 member board with Dr. Saroj Mondal who will perform the procedure. @SGanguly99 get well soon.

Fondly known as ‘Dada’, Ganguly began his international cricket career in 1991. He celebrated his Test debut with a century in 1996 against England at Lord’s. Leading the team with great success, Ganguly is widely considered as one of India’s most successful captains. The left-hander finished his international career in 2008 with the tally of more than 18,000 runs. In 2019, he was elected as the BCCI President and still holds the post.
