Shikhar Dhawan reveals Rohit Sharma’s sleeping habit in The Kapil Sharma Show
Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw made some interesting revelations as they appeared in Saturday’s (January 22) episode of The Kapil Sharma Show. Everyone gets to see what transpires on the cricket field. However, cricketers often have some dressing room or behind-the-camera stories, which are hidden from fans. Owing to the same, comedian Kapil Sharma, the host of the show, fired some interesting queries and the duo also came up with hilarious answers.
In a segment, the duo were given a number of habits or attributes and they had to pick the player whom it applied the most. Kapil asked which cricketer sleeps the most and Shikhar named his Team India opening partner Rohit Sharma. Kapil then recalled that former Indian skipper Virat Kohli also told him about Rohit’s sleeping habits.

“Actually, Virat paaji ne bhi bola tha ki woh kahin pe bhi so jaata hai, khada khada bhi so jaata hai (Virat Kohli also told us about this earlier, that Rohit can sleep anywhere, even while standing),” Kapil said. Meanwhile, veteran actress Archana Puran Singh, who’s the permanent guest on the show, as if any cricketer was scared of sleeping alone?
In reply Shikhar said, “Sab ke single room hote hai toh akele hi sote hai saare (Everyone has a single room so they sleep alone).” Kapil then equipped: “Apni taraf se toh ek ek hi jaata hai room mein, aage hume kya pata (They go into the room alone, who knows what happens after that)” evoking laughter in the set.
Meanwhile, Shikhar also recalled that he used to update his ex-wife Ayesha Dhawan regularly about his schedule. His comments came after Kapil asked which cricketer gives constant updates to his spouse.
“Main hi kiya karta tha pehle. Normal, jaise bus se jaa rahe hai, koi picture bhej di (I only used to do it before. Normal stuff, like sending a picture when we were leaving in the bus etc),” said Shikhar.
For the unversed, Shikhar and Ayesha announced separation last year after eight years of marriage. As of now, the southpaw is in South Africa for the three-match ODI series.
