One of the major reasons for Delhi’s success in this season of the IPL has been their lethal bowling attack. The team’s bowlers have stood tall to take the team past the crunch moments. Avesh Khan is the second-highest wicket-taker of the tournament with 24 wickets under his sleeves.
Anrich Nortje also grabbed the attention of many with his raw pace. He asserted that he is proud of whatever the team has achieved but not winning the title has disappointed him a tad bit.
“In sport and in life, things move so rapidly. Can’t believe how time went by with this amazing bunch. Proud of what we achieved and disappointed that we couldn’t get the trophy. Thank you to everyone involved, especially the fans for sticking with us,” said Nortje who picked 12 wickets in 8 matches for Delhi season,” Nortje said as reported by TOI.
