Shardul Thakur ties knot with Mittali Parulkar

India bowler Shardul Thakur has tied the nuptial knot with girlfriend Mittali Parulkar and the pictures from the grand day have started pouring in. The cricketer shared some captured moments from his functions on Instagram while other guests present at the function have also been doing the same.

The 31-year-old bowling all-rounder has been treating fans with beautiful pictures and videos from his Sangeet and Haldi ceremony in last two days. Indian captain Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh attended the Sangeet ceremony on Sunday, while Shreyas Iyer and Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife Dhanashree Verma participated in the Haldi ceremony of the couple.

Notably in January this year, another Indian cricketer KL Rahul got married to famous Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty, while spin all-rounder Axar Patel got married to Neha Patel on January 26.

Meanwhile, Shardul and Mittali announced their engagement on November 29, 2021 in a private ceremony in Mumbai. The Mumbai-born cricketer was struggling to find a date for marriage due to his involvement in international cricket.

He remains a crucial part of India’s both white-ball teams but last played Test cricket in August 2022 against England. He is included in India’s squad for the upcoming ODIs against Australia and then will represent Kolkata Knight Riders in Indian Premier League 2023.

KKR traded in Shardul from Delhi Capitals prior to IPL 2023 auction on December 23 in Kochi. Shardul’s last international outing came against New Zealand’s tour of India last month, where he won the Player of the Match in the third ODI for scoring 25 off 17 and taking three wickets for 45.
