Shardul Thakur gets engaged to his girlfriend Mittali Parulkar
Indian pacer Shardul Thakur gets engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Mittali Parulkar. A source also stated that an engagement function for the couple has been organized at the Mumbai Cricket Association.
The source further added that 75 people have been invited as guests to attend this function and all of these guests are either close friends of the couple or are a part of their families. The wedding between Thakur and his girlfriend is likely to be held in the year 2022 after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup.
“There is a small engagement function at the Mumbai Cricket Association’s facility in BKC on Monday, for which he has invited 75-odd guests-mostly close friends and family members. The wedding is likely to take place after the T20 World Cup in Australia next year,” said a source according to the Times of India.

Shardul Thakur last played for India in the 2021 T20 World Cup
Shardul Thakur was last seen on a cricket field during the 2021 T20 World Cup. The right-arm pacer played 2 matches in the tournament but failed to scalp a single wicket. After the T20 World Cup, Thakur was given a break by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and is not a part of the Indian side that is currently taking on New Zealand at home.
Shardul Thakur has played 4 Tests, 15 ODIs, and 23 T20Is for the Indian side. While he has scalped 14 wickets in the whites, Thakur has prized out 22 batsmen in ODI cricket. In the T20I format of the game, the 30-year-old has taken 31 scalps.
Apart from this, Thakur has also played 61 matches in the IPL and has taken 67 wickets at an average of 27.87 and a strike rate of 18.81
