Sachin Tendulkar tests positive for COVID-19
India’s legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has tested positive for COVID-19. The Master Blaster himself confirmed the bitter news from his official Twitter handle. His fans jumped instantly to send their best wishes for his speedy recovery.
“I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However, I’ve tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative,” Tendulkar wrote in a statement on his official Twitter profile.

According to the statement released by Tendulkar, he has confirmed that he has developed only mild symptoms of the virus. The batting legend also informed he is following the protocols as advised by his doctors. He will be quarantined at home and shall undergo the necessary treatment. All other family members at home have been tested negative. Tendulkar also thanked the healthcare professionals around the country for their constant support and dedication.
The news shocked everyone and Tendulkar fans across the globe immediately poured get well soon wishes. Many of the celebrities wished the Master Blaster a speedy recovery.
