Sachin Tendulkar returns home after being hospitalised due to COVID-19
India’s legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has returned home from the hospital after six days. The Master Blaster will continue to isolate himself in his Mumbai house. Tendulkar had tested positive for COVID-19 on 27th March and was hospitalised 6 days later on 2nd April. He confirmed the development via his official Twitter handle.

“I have just come home from the hospital and will remain isolated while continuing to rest and recuperate. I would like to thank everyone for all the good wishes and prayers. Really appreciate it.
“I remain ever grateful to all the medical staff who took such good care of me & have been working tirelessly for over a year in such difficult circumstances,” Tendulkar wrote on Twitter.
The cricketing fraternity and the legion of fans were overjoyed to learn about the well-being of their favourite cricketer and expressed their love through the tweets.
