SA vs ENG: 5 Players to watch out for in the T20I series
The England tour of South Africa began on November 27, and the two teams will lock horns with each other for three ODIs and as many T20Is. The limited-overs series will stretch from November 27 to December 9, where both teams would put their best foot forward to steal the honour. Due to some internal conflict in Cricket South Africa, the tour was expected to get disturbed, but it will be on as per schedule.
Players of both the teams were engrossed well enough in the IPL 2020 edition in UAE, and some of them even displayed a stellar form. Keeping certain factors in mind, let’s see the five players to watch out for in their T20I series.
5. Sam Curran
The young man is just coming after plying his trade for CSK in IPL 2020. While the franchise suffered terribly this time, it was Curran who turned all the heads with his all-round performance. In fact, he remained the highest wicket-taker from the yellow army. In line with his current form, a great campaign can be expected from his end in the upcoming T20I series against Proteas.
4. Kagiso Rabada
Rabada’s international form hasn’t been too good post-2019 World Cup, but the level of destruction he caused in IPL 2020 with his deadly pace was beyond imagination. He played a vital role in Delhi’s journey to their maiden finale and turned out to be the proud owner of the Purple Cap. He scalped 30 wickets in the tournament at an economy of 8.34 and would be hungry for success at the international level too.

3. Anrich Nortje
Nortje was a surprise package in the IPL. He combined with Rabada in the Delhi side to produce great results. His perfect line and length became the topic of discussion too many times in IPL 2020 as he stood on no. 5 in the chart of highest wicket-takers in the season. It would be a great chance for him to replicate his heroics against Morgan and company with Rabada on his side yet again.
2. David Malan
The fact that terrific batsman Malan is ranked as No. 1 batter in ICC T20I rankings speaks a lot about his stature in the format. He has scored 682 runs in 16 T20Is he has played so far with an impressive average of 48.71. With such golden records in the bag, the southpaw of England can give hard time to the hosts. The late bloomer in the international circuit would be ready to play some quality cricket.
1. Jos Buttler
The Rajasthan franchise boasted of the strongest overseas lot in IPL 2020, and Buttler was one of its integral parts. Though RR finished last in the points table, Buttler had a decent campaign with his bat. He gathered 328 runs in 12 innings he played for the team. The vice-captain of the English team in the limited-overs format would be eager to show his form against the hosts.
