3. Chris Gayle | 4965 runs
The tall Caribbean explosive hitter gained massive limelight during his time in the top-tier league, especially while donning the RCB jersey. From 2009 to 2021, the aggressive southpaw featured in 142 matches and collected 4965 runs, which includes 31 fifties and six tons with a career-best of an unbeaten 175 runs coming against Pune Warriors India (now defunct).
2. AB de Villiers | 5162 runs
AB de Villiers was known for his impressive ability to get the big runs from all over the park, courtesy of his exquisite shots. The former South Africa batter played 184 matches and amassed 5162 runs. His strike rate stands at 151.68 with as many as 40 half-centuries and three centuries. In doing so, de Villiers stands second in this elite list of overseas cricketers.
1. David Warner | 6311 runs
Regarded as arguably one of the most lethal hitters of the ball, Warner has collected a massive number of runs in the lucrative T20 league. In 175 appearances, the Aussie Southpaw has got 6311 runs. His average is 41.24, which includes 60 half-centuries and four tons under his belt. With this, he is the highest overseas run-getter. Overall, Warner is the third-top run-getter in the league behind Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan.
