Rishabh Pant interacts with U-16 cricketers at NCA
India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru after suffering multiple injuries from a near-fatal accident in December 2022. Since then, the regular Delhi Capitals skipper has not played any competitive cricket.
Pant was recently seen walking without crutches for the first time after his accident. He was also seen having fun at the NCA by playing table tennis. On Tuesday, May 8, the cricketer interacted with players from the NCA’s Under-16 cricket camp.
The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in India took to Twitter and shared some images of the cricketer who was seen interacting with the under-16 players. “The boys who are part of the Under-16 high-performance camp at NCA Bangalore had the opportunity to interact with Rishabh Pant on cricket, life, hard work, and much much more. It was very generous of @RishabhPant17 to spare time for interacting with these young boys” BCCI captioned the post.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals have had a disappointing season so far as the David-warner-led side currently sits at the bottom of the IPL 2023 points table with eight points. They defeated Royals Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by seven wickets in their previous fixture in Delhi on May 8. However, they cannot afford to lose any game from here. DC will next take on four-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on May 10.
