England will play 2 T20Is in Pakistan in October this year
Also, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had earlier stated that the England cricket team will tour Pakistan in October 2021, and will play a couple of T20Is on October 14th and 15th. England and Pakistan will then depart to India for the hugely anticipated ICC T20 World Cup.
The last time England toured Pakistan was in the year 2005 when both sides were involved in a three-match Test series and a five-match ODI series. And, it was Pakistan that emerged triumphant in both the formats of the game.
While Pakistan won the ODI series against England 3-2, they also came out on top in the Test series, winning it by a margin of 2-0. Pakistan and England last played against each other in an international match on 9th September 2020 at Old Trafford. And, it was the Pakistan side that emerged on top and beat the Eoin Morgan led side by 5 runs. Mohammad Hafeez was the star performer for Pakistan with the willow and scored a match-winning 86* off only 52 deliveries.
