Remembering the innings – Yuvraj Singh smashes 150
From August 2005 to November 2007, Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni stitched seven 100-plus partnerships in winning causes for India. The duo became the saviour of the Indian batting order on many occasions. They revived their magic in 2017 where Dhoni blazed to 134 while Yuvraj smashed his career-best 150.

In the second of the five-match ODI series, English captain Eoin Morgan chose to field first at the Barabati Stadium, Cuttack. His decision looked like a masterstroke as Chris Woakes ran through the Indian top-order. Reeling at 25/3, all hopes relied on Yuvraj-Dhoni to revive their chemistry.
Launching an attack on the English bowling lineup, Yuvraj brought up his 14th ODI century in 98 balls. His next 50 runs were scored in just 29 balls. When the left-hander fell for his career-best 150 off 127 balls, he had smacked 21 fours and 3 sixes. Dhoni continued the attack as India posted 381/6 in 50 overs. England fought back valiantly but fell short by 15 runs. Yuvraj was named player of the match. This was also his last ODI century. He declared his retirement from international cricket after two years.
