Rain likely to play a spoilsport in India vs Bangladesh game
Team India will take on Bangladesh in the fourth group-stage encounter of the T20 World Cup 2022. The match will be played at the Adelaide Oval on November 2 (Wednesday). Both teams will need to win the upcoming game at any cost as a loss will affect their chances of qualifying for the next round.
Meanwhile, the weather is also expected to play a crucial role in the contest. Luckily, team India’s games have not been interrupted by the rain so far, but the reports suggest that rain may play a spoilsport as the Men in Blue take on Bangladesh in Adelaide.
There are 60% of chance of rain on the eve of the match
According to the Australian government bureau of meteorology, the forecast for Wednesday is cloudy, medium (60 percent) chance of showers, most likely in the evening and winds will blow southwesterly 20 to 30 km/hr.
According to Accuweather, the weather is expected to be chilly with a cloud cover of more than 70 percent during the start of the game. Showers are predicted for 8 pm and 11 pm. With both teams currently tied on points, spectators will hope that the weather doesn’t spoil an exciting contest on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid has backed Indian opener KL Rahul who is going through a lean patch in the tournament. “In words and actions, we have shown full support for KL Rahul,” said Dravid in the pre-match presser.
Dravid emphasized the fact that Rahul is a fantastic player and he along with the skipper Rohit Sharma has full confidence in the opening batter.
“KL Rahul is a fantastic player, we are confident that he will come back strongly, these conditions have been challenging for the openers in this world. I and Rohit don’t have absolutely no doubt who will open, I know how much impact KL Rahul can make,” the coach further added in the press conference.
