R Ashwin wants third umpire to also keep an eye on batsmen

ICC announced their decision of the third umpire keeping an eye on the bowler’s front-foot when they are in the delivery stride. The on-field umpire will not have to look at the no-ball scenario and they can concentrate better on the events unfolding in front of them. However, the Indian spin bowler, R Ashwin wants the third umpire to keep an eye on both the bowler and the batsman for violating their limits.

Ashwin tweeted the following from his official Twitter account:

Ashwin, a keen student of the game, is famous for his ‘mankading’ dismissal in the IPL. He found the English batsman playing for Rajasthan Royals, Jos Buttler out of his crease as the non-striker. The Kings XI Punjab captain whipped the bails off to spark a major controversy. Ashwin has rightfully defended his stance of running the non-striker out if he out of his crease. He has now asked for the third umpire to adjudicate that and punish the batting side by disallowing the runs.
