R Ashwin takes a dig at David Warner after India bans TikTok
Indian social media received a jolt on 29th June (Monday) as the Indian government decided to ban 59 Chinese applications. The list also includes TikTok which had gained tremendous popularity in the times of coronavirus pandemic. Australia’s opening batsman David Warner was particularly taken by it. He and his family posted regular updates on TikTok which were adored across the world.
However, the ban will see a reduction of Indian fans on Warner’s feed which will be significant. Warner along with his wife Candice and their daughters had danced on several songs. From Punjabi to Telugu numbers, they shook their legs and posted these videos on their social media platforms. Noting the Australian’s fondness for the app, India’s ace off-spinner R Ashwin took a dig at him.

Appo Anwar – is dialogue from superstar Rajnikant’s 1995 Tamil film ‘Basha’ – which roughly translates to: “So, what’s David Warner going to do now?” Warner is yet to comment on it. Meanwhile, he is busy posting more of such short videos from his Instagram.
