R Ashwin helps Ajaz Patel to get verified on Twitter

Ajaz Patel had an outing to remember in New Zealand’s second and final Test against India at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The tweaker picked up 14 wickets in the match, but the Black Caps lost by 372 runs and conceded the series 0-1. In the first innings, he picked up all 10 wickets and became the third bowler after Jim Laker and Anil Kumble to the milestone.

Patel also picked up four wickets in the second innings, but the Black Caps folded in a tad over four days. He was the standout bowler for the Kiwis in the series, although he couldn’t save his team from a defeat. In the meantime, Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was a bit unhappy. He found it hard to comprehend that Patel’s Twitter account wasn’t verified despite his heroics.
