The former limited-overs skipper of Sri Lanka, Thisara Perera, is a bowling all-rounder but has shown the courage to play some big hits in the death overs. The left-handed batsman has plied his trade across various T20 leagues of the world and is one of Lanka’s assets for the limited-overs. After playing 80 T20Is for his country, he has 1180 runs in his account at a strike rate of 152.60.

The limited-overs skipper of the Australian squad, Finch, currently has the record of holding two of three highest individual scores by a batsman in T20Is. In 2018 July, he became the first player to have reached the 900 rating points in ICC’s official T20I rankings. March 2019 also saw him being named as Men’s T20 Player of the year at the annual New Zealand cricket awards. In 65 T20Is he has played so far, he has 1734 runs in his account at a strike rate of 156.44.

His power-hitting abilities in the short format of the game fetched him the fourth-highest score in T20Is against Sri Lanka in 2016 (145* off 65).
