In the latest turn of events, a Sheffield Shield match between Queensland and Tasmania had to be called off at the last minute due to a COVID-19 scare. The game has now been postponed for the later parts of the season as Tasmania refused to play against their opponents.

The statement said that team has opted for a “cautious and considered approach” to march back.
