Pakistan to tour Netherlands and Ireland in July 2020
Two European cricket teams will be hosting Pakistan in next July for a limited-overs series. The Asian team will be playing ODIs against Netherlands followed by T20Is versus Ireland. This will serve as a prelude for Pakistan’s England tour which is a part of the World Test Championship.

Pakistan are scheduled to play three ODIs versus Netherlands on July 4, 7 and 9 at the VRA Cricket Club in Amstelveen. Following the ODI series, the green team will take on Ireland in two T20Is on July 12 and 14. This will be the first bilateral series between Netherlands and Pakistan. All their previous three encounters were played in ICC tournaments – 1996 World Cup, 2002 Champions Trophy and 2003 World Cup. This will be their first international meeting since their lone T20I encounter in 2009.
Meanwhile, The two-match T20I series will also be the first-ever T20I bilateral series between Ireland and Pakistan. These two teams met in the 2009 T20I World Cup where Pakistan secured a 39-run win. They have played a Test match and have squared off against each other in 8 ODI matches. Pakistan’s only loss against Ireland came in their famous maiden encounter in the 2007 ODI World Cup where Ireland clinched a great upset.
