NZ vs WI: Five players to watch out for in New Zealand vs West Indies T20Is
The West Indies tour of New Zealand is all set to kick off from November 27, and the two nations would lock horns in the three-match T20I series and two-match Test series. The players that were involved in IPL 2020 are completing their mandatory quarantine period. The series opener would be played in Auckland on the 27th of this month, and both the teams would put their best foot forward to steal the glory.
In the bilateral series, some players would be expected to shine on the basis of different factors. In the same reference, let’s see five players to watch out for in the T20I series.
5. Kyle Jamieson
Kyle Jamieson had a great summer in the last season as he helped New Zealand win against India. However, he would be marking his T20I debut this season with the Black Caps. With a good amount of experience in hand now, he can shine in the meeting against Caribbeans in the shortest format of the game.
4. Ross Taylor
The former skipper of New Zealand is 36 and still going strong. The silent worker and hero of the game would be keen to put up his best show in the upcoming T20I series. He has 1909 runs under his belt in 100 T20Is he has been part of. He was not part of IPL 2020 and would be in his best preparation to steal the limelight in a T20I event.
3. Lockie Ferguson
Ferguson was with Kolkata Knight Riders during IPL 2020, and he got introduced in the playing XI quite late. Though he wreaked havoc in the very first match he played for KKR, his subsequent outings turned out to be not so impressive. The pacer didn’t get enough chances to prove himself, and he might be hungry for success in the international zone.
2. Sheldon Cottrell
The Caribbean pacer Cottrell was a significant part of KXIP’s bowling artillery in IPL 2020. However, he started getting dropped from the team owing to his inconsistency. He bagged six wickets in the six matches he played at an economy of 8.80 in IPL 2020. Cottrell might turn tables in his next T20I meeting against Kiwis.
1. Kieron Pollard
ARRIVAL: FINALLY, the #MenInMaroon players who participated in the IPL have joined the rest of the squad in Auckland!

Pollard is just coming back after having a great IPL season. It seems like Pollard is enjoying a winning run since the CPL and would want to continue in the same vein.He bagged 268 runs in his account with a splendid strike rate of 191.42 and scalped four wickets. Having had some great seasons in past (IPL and CPL), Pollard would be expected to replicate his brilliance in the coming T20I series in the role of skipper.
