NZ golfer Ryan Fox rebukes Shane Warne for calling India the best Test side in the world

India won the 4th Test match against England at The Oval in the most enthralling manner and the victory became special as it came on the venue after 50 years. India after showing splendid performance across departments bagged a lot of attention and appreciation from fans. Some big names also joined the bandwagon and congratulated India on scripting history and former Australian legend Shane Warne was one of them.

Warne congratulated India by posting that what the team has achieved over the last 12 months is absolutely incredible and this is why they are the best Test team in the world. However, when Warne made his tweet, his friend and New Zealand golfer Ryan Fox jumped in to take a dig. He replied that India didn’t beat New Zealand in the WTC final of 2019-21 and hence, they can’t be the best in the world.

India played WTC Final against New Zealand in June 2021 and lost the high-profile event. However, talking about England series, India has bounced back in style as they have taken a 2-1 lead in the five-match Test series. Only the last match of the series is left which will take place in Manchester. It remains to be seen if India will clinch the series by further winning the final game or it will end in a draw.
