Top Performers of the Match
Kiran Navgire (57 off 31)
The opening batter came out with a clear intent to take on MI bowlers and made full use of the powerplay by finding boundaries. She raced to her half-century off just 25 balls with back-to-back sixes against Hayley Matthews. Navgire was finally dismissed on getting stumped against Amelia Kerr after scoring 57 (31) with the help of six fours and four gigantic sixes.

With the game running away from MI, after a massive opening stand between Healy and Navgire, Wong brought UP back in the game with double strikes in her second over. The right-arm seamer leaked 17 runs in her first over but made a brilliant comeback in the next one by first trapping Tahlia McGrath (1 of 4) in front of the stumps.
She later got the prized scalp of Alyssa Healy two balls later who hit one straight to Saika Ishaque at point. Following her double-wicket over, UP were reduced to 98/3 after 10.4 overs with two new batters at the crease.
