Shreyas Iyer, who is known for his big hits, especially against spinners, finished with 530 runs in 11 matches at an average of 66.25. Like Warner, the Mumbai batter also hit exactly 24 sixes. He hit a six that went 106 meters and finished as the second-longest hit in the tournament.

The Indian captain showed great intent at the top of the order and got his team off to flying starts in almost every game. Rohit ended only behind Virat Kohli on the list of highest run-scorers in the tournament as the 36-year-old accumulated
597 runs at an average of 54.27. Rohit topped the chart for most sixes hit by a player as he deposited the ball 31 times into the crowd.
