Shakib Al Hasan ruled out of ODI World Cup due to finger injury

In an unfortunate turn of events, Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan has suffered an injury to his left index finger and this has ruled him out of his team’s final game in the ODI World Cup 2023 against Australia on Saturday, November 11 in Pune.
The star all-rounder suffered the injury while batting in the game against Sri Lanka on Monday in Delhi. He played a match-winning knock of 82 off just 65 balls as Bangladesh won by three wickets with 53 balls to spare.
