SA vs IND: 4th T20I Preview – Confident India eye series triumph in South Africa
India made a strong comeback in the third T20I as they beat South Africa by 11 runs at the SuperSport Park in Centurion and lead the series 2-1. Both teams will collide one last time in the fourth and final T20I of the series at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on November 15. It will be a do-or-die game for the Proteas and a last chance to level the series. For the unversed, the last time they hosted India for a T20I series, the series was levelled at 1-1.
On the other hand, Suryakumar Yadav will wish to claim another series win and if India manages to win this game, this will be their third consecutive series win under Suryakumar. Proteas came close to successfully chasing the target twice in the series. The first time, they managed to win the second T20I but fell short in the third. This also raises concerns over the hosts’ batting and the visitor’s bowling in death overs.
Pitch Report
The high altitude of the Wanderers Stadium might aid batters as the ball takes ample flight to reach the boundary line. But the bowlers enjoy the extra bounce and pace and can pose a threat to the batters with some quicker ones. Spinners have very little assistance but the Pacers can reign supreme. On the weather front, the skies will be clear with no rain threat.
