IND vs AUS: 2nd T20I Preview – India look to continue their winning momentum
Having taken a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20I series, India will look to extend it as they take on Australia in the second T20I on Sunday, November 26 at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram. The Men in Blue registered a thrilling win in the first T20I as they chased down the target of 209 in 19.5 overs and won the match by two wickets.
Captain Suryakumar Yadav starred with the bat with his splendid knock of 80 (42). He was well supported by Ishan Kishan who also scored a brilliant fifty (58 off 39). On the bowling front, Mukesh Kumar bowled an economical spell of 0/29 in four overs.
On the other hand, Australia will be eager to make a comeback after losing the first game. The Matthew Wade-led side will hope for a better performance from their bowlers who were all expensive in the first game apart from Jason Behrendorff (1/25, 4 overs).
On the batting front, Josh Inglis stole the show with his incredible hundred. The 28-year-old scored the joint-fastest hundred by an Australian in T20Is (47 balls). The WK-batter played a knock of 110 off 50 balls. Inglis would hope to continue his sensational form and help his side make a solid comeback.
