BPL 2024: Fortune Barishal end Shoaib Malik’s contract over match-fixing suspicion
Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik has found himself in trouble as his contract with Fortune Barishal in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) has reportedly been terminated. This move comes after Malik’s controversial performance in a recent BPL 2024 match against Khulna Tigers.
Malik’s lackluster display raised concerns, with fans questioning his commitment to the game. He bowled three no-balls in a single over, conceding 18 runs, and his batting efforts yielded only five runs from six balls in the death overs.
