In a bizarre moment at the ongoing second Test between Australia and Pakistan, there was a delay in play on Day 3 of the clash as the umpire Richard Illingworth got stuck in a lift. Cricket has seen many delays over the years, from rain playing spoilsport to technical errors. However, the match official getting stuck in a lift was something that was never witnessed before.
The MCG play paused when umpire Illingworth got trapped in a lift. A five-minute delay ensued on Day 3 after lunch. Illingworth was not in his seat at the MCG as the broadcasters panned the cameras toward his seat.
